Virtuous cycle of Internet Marketing

Google Inc., which develops and hosts a number of internet-based services and products, is an American multinational company with an unparalled reputation in the world of internet.  For many people across the continents, Google is the only gateway to the endless universe of the internet.  Google earns its revenues chiefly from its advertisements over the internet. It is the biggest online advertisement channel in the world. Its Adword program is the most important source of revenue. Larry Page, the 38 year old co-founder of Google founded the company along with Sergey Brin.  Larry Page recently became the CEO of Google Inc. replacing Eric Schmidt.

The company is also known for changing its home page of goggle.com quite often. Users also have option to change background image with all of them being submitted by its users. Google is a company with many popular products including its email service Gmail, photo hosting service in the form of Picasa Web Albums, community websites like Orkut, Google +. Google Buzz is a social networking site embedded into Gmail.  It has Google Earth as its powerful virtual globe. Another popular application which is meant for instant messaging and VOIP is Google Talk. Google has important operating systems in the form of Android and Google Chrome OS.

Recently Google announced that it will shut down 10 of its products. The list includes search company Aardvark. Google has decided to close a number of products and to merge others into existing products as features. The decision was announced by Google’s senior vice-president for engineering Alan Eustace on the official blog of the company.   The decision was taken with a view to enhance the Google experience as a whole for the users. The company is expected to focus more and more on its new venture called Google + with a high possibility of  many of the Google Staff being transferred to Google+ which was launched in invitation-only beta and has acquired around 20 million users within three weeks  of its launch.  According to Eustace Google now wants to focus on building “world changing products with a truly beautiful user experience”.

The decision was seemingly taken on the basis of a 60-word explanation, pitched to Larry Page, by Product Managers undertaking their respective projects.
